INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS
■ Connecting a PC
D PC connection for control
USB (Unversal Seral Bus) cable s used for the connecton
between the ID-1 and a PC.
An USB extenson cable, OPC-1127 (1.5 m; 4.9 ft), s sup-
pled wth the transcever for extended connecton.

NOTE: When connectng the ID-1 and the PC through an
USB hub, use the self-powered type.

Ethernet cable connecton s addtonally requred for the data
operaton.
Connect the Ethernet receptacle to the Ethernet port on your
PC drectly or through the suppled extenson cable wth the
cable coupler, f desred.
ID-1
Use the supplied OPC-1069, Ethernet cable (3 m; 9.8 ft),
and the cable coupler for extension, if desired.

NOTE: When no Ethernet port s avalable wth your PC,
nstall an Ethernet card and t's drver before connectng
the ID-1. Ask your local computer dealer for detals about
nstallng a Ethernet card to your computer.
