Connect the flexible high-pressure pipe
(item 4) from the pressure oil device into
the connecting bore provided in the
wheel shaft (item 5).
Fixedly tighten the connecting nipple with
an openjaw spanner.
Pay attention for pressing-off that there
is sufficient clearance in pressing-off
direction avoiding that the wheel shaft
is bottoming. Do not jam the wheel
shaft at the pressing-off procedure.
Mount the stamp (item 6) from the
holding fixture (see Figure 64) into the
press.
Adjust a pressing-off force from approx.
80 ... max. 120 KN on the press.
At the same time also use fixture 62222
to produce the necessary pressure until
the wheel shaft is pressed out from the
crown gear.
Remove and handle the wheel shaft in
such a way that the flexible high-pressure
pipe can be unscrewed from the
connecting bore of the wheel shaft (item
9), removed and put aside.
