Tighten the
oil
bolt
while pushing the
brake hose eyelet
joint against the
stopper on the
servo
proportional
control valve.
Remove the oil pipe
joint nuts.
Remove the
mounting
bolts and
rear
proportional
control valve.
Installation
is in
the reverse order of removal.
Fill and bleed the brake system
(page
15-7).

Drain the pedal and servo

ne
hydraulic
system
(page 15-7).
Remove
t
he
rear
fender (page
2-17).
Remove the oil bolt, sealing washers and brake
hose eyelet from the servo proportional control
valve.
Loosen the oil pipe nut and
remov
e
the oil
pipe.
Remove
the two mounting bolts and servo
propor-
tional control valve.
Installatio
n
is in the
reverse
order of
removal.
Fill and bleed the brake system
(page
15-7).

Drain the
lever
and pedal brake
line
hydraulic
sys-
tem
(page
15-7).
Avoid spilling fluid
Remove
the oil bolts, sealing washers and brake
on painted, plastic,
hose eyelet
joints.
or rubber parts.
Remove the secondary master cylinder joint
bolt
Place
a
shop
towel
and caliper pivot bolt.
over these
parts
whenever the
sys-
tem is serviced.
