Align the bosses on
the oil pump drive
sprocket with the
holes in the clutch
outer by turning the
driven sprocket
with your finger.
Apply a locking agent to the threads of the oil pu mp
d riven sprocket bolt.
T ighten the driven sprocket bolt to t he specif ied
torque.
TORQUE: 18 N·m (1.8 kgf·m, 13 lbf·ft)
Align the primary drive gear and sub-gear t eeth
with a screwdriver as shown.
Install the clutch outer and needle bearing.
Install t he starter clutch assembly (page 19-15).
Install the clutch cente r.
Install the lock washer w ith its "OUT SIDE" mark fac-
ing out.
Install the new lock nut.
Hold the clutch center with the clut ch center holder,
then t ig hten the lock nut to the specified torque.
