CRANKCASE/TRANSMISSION
Inspect the shift drum grooves for wear or damage.
Turn the outer race of the shift drum bearing with
your finger.
The bearing should tu rn smoothly and f reely with-
out excessive p lay.
If necessary, replace the bearing.
