ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS)
2 . ABS Indicator Output Voltage
Connect the ABS control unit 5P (Brown) con- .-- - - - -- - - -- - - - - - - - ---,
nector.
Disconnect the ABS control unit 5P (Black) con-
nector.
Measu re the voltage between the ABS control
unit 5P (Black) wire harness side connector ter-
minal and ground. with t he ig nition switch
t urned to "ON".
Connection: Blue/ yellow (+)- ground (-)
Standard: 1 - 3 V
Is the voltage w ithin s tandard value?
NO - Open circuit in w ire harness between
the combination meter (ABS indicator) ' - - - - -- -- - -- - -- -- -- - -_j
and ABS control unit.
YES - GO TO STEP 3.
3. Short Circuit Inspectio n in Wheel Speed Sensor
Input Signal Line
Con nect t he ABS contro l unit 5P (Black) connec-
tor.
Disconnect the f ront and rear wheel speed sen-
sor

connectors.
Measu re t he voltage bet ween each w heel speed
sensor
2P
connector w ire harness side connec-
t or t erm inal and g round.
Con nection: Black/ pink- ground
Black/ orange- ground
Is there continuity?
YES - Short circu it in wire harness between
t he front and/or rear wheel speed sen-
sor and A BS control u nit.
