GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
DRIVE SPROCKET REMOVAL

Remove the following:
- Side cowl (page 2-8)
- Clutch slave cylinder (page 9-13)
Disconnect the vehicle speed sensor connector.
Remove the two SH bolts and vehicle speed sensor.
Remove the two SH bolts and drive sprocket cover.
Remove the drive chain guide plat e and dowel pins.
Shift the transmission into 6th gear and apply the
rear brake.
Loosen and remove the drive sprocket bolt and
washer.
