FUEL SYSTEM (Programmed Fuel Injection)
Disconnect the fuel tank air vent hose and overflow
hose.
Disconnect the fuel level sensor 2P (B lue) connector .-----.._,....,-.._,,....-
and fuel pump 2P (Brown) con nector.
Close the fuel tank then remove the fuel tank rear
mounting bolts.
Place the fuel tank upside down.

I
Be careful not to damage the fuel tank.
Disconnect the fuel return hose from the fuel pump.
Remove the fuel feed hose banjo bolt and sealing
washers, then remove the fuel feed hose from the
fuel pump.
Refer to procedures for fuel level sensor removal
(page 20-19).
Refer to procedures for fuel pump removal (page 5-
54).
