packages will have the same description.

Importing/Exporting a Package
Archive File
You can create a package archive file and then import/
export it between switcher storage and a computer or
between switcher storage and MLS Manager.
Importing a package archive file
Note
Only archive files that have been exported using the
Home > File > Package > Import/Export > Export menu
(10101.22) can be imported.

Open the Home > File > Package > Import/Export >
Import menu (10101.21).
To include content data when importing, press the
[With Content] button.

Select external media, network storage, or MLS
Manager.
To import an archive file from external media or
network storage, press the [Web Client Computer]
button.
To import an archive file saved in MLS Manager,
press the [MLS Manager] button.
An archive file selection dialog appears.

Select an archive file to import.
The file name, modification date and time, and size of
the selected archive file are displayed.
To clear an archive file selection
Press the [×] button on the right of the archive file.

Press the [Import Now] button.

Check the message, then press [OK].
The package is imported.
If a package with the same name exists, a copy count
(underscore and copy number) is added to the end of
the package name.
Note
If a default package is imported, it overwrites the
current default package.
Exporting a package archive file

Open the Home > File > Package > Import/Export >
Export menu (10101.22).
To include content data when exporting, press the
[With Content] button.
To edit properties
Press the [Edit Properties] button.
For details about editing properties, see "Editing
Package Properties" (page 332).

Select a package to export.
To select and export multiple packages, place a check
mark beside the target packages to export.
To select and export all displayed packages, place a
check mark in the Select All checkbox.

Select external media, network storage, or MLS
Manager.
To export to external media or network storage, press
the [Web Client Computer] button.
To export to MLS Manager, press the [MLS
Manager] button.
Note
When exporting to MLS Manager, only one package
can be selected.

Check the message, then press [OK].
An archive file for the selected package is exported.
The file name extension for an archive file is ".spz".
