The following table describes the typographic conventions used in this book.

The table below provides definitions of the terms "left" and "right" as used in

Term Meaning
Left The side to your left as you face the front of the system; the side that
contains the system's main logic board.
Right The side to your right as you face the front of the system.
Examples
Edit your .login file.
