To Run The Park Test - Sun Microsystems SPARCstorage Library Service Manual

The system displays a message similar to the following when the move is
complete.
POSITION TO 3:
Status: Complete
7. To run the test again with a different element index, press Escape to
return to the Diagnostics Menu and repeat steps 4 and 5.
To abort the Position to Element diagnostic, press Escape and then Enter.

To run the Park test

The Park test moves the CHM to the top (or right) of the long axis (park
position).
1. Disable security (the display panel reads Set Security On when security is
disabled).
If the display panel reads Set Security Off, security is turned on. See "To
enable or disable security" on page 2-22.
2. Put the tape library into LCD Interface mode:
a. Press Escape until the primary menu is displayed.
b. Select the Interface Menu by pressing
c. Select the Control Mode Menu by pressing
d. Select LCD Interface mode by pressing
3. Select the Maintenance Menu by pressing
4. Select the Diagnostics Menu by pressing
5. Select Park by pressing
To abort this diagnostic, press Escape and then Enter.
