Steps and access handles
WARNING
Fall hazard!
In order to enter or exit the cab, the upper structure frame must be in line with the undercarriage.
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.

Clean the steps and access handles to remove all traces of grease, oil, mud, and ice (in winter).
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.

Jumping on or off the machine could cause an injury. Always face the machine, use the handrails
and steps, and get on or off slowly. Maintain a three-point contact to avoid falling: both hands on the
handrails and one foot on the step, or one hand on the handrail and both feet on the steps.
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.
The steps (1) allow to access the machine from the
ground. To get in or out of the machine, grab the handles
(2), and use the steps (1) and the tracks.
The catwalk platforms (3) can be optionally installed
alongside the upper structure.
The catwalk platforms ease the access the operator's
compartment, and allow to reach the service compart-
ments located on the left side and on the right side of the
upper structure. To move along the catwalk platforms,
make sure to grab the handles (4).
NOTICE: never use the left console, the left-hand control
lever or the gate lock lever in place of the handles when
getting on or off the operator's compartment.
