6. If the track does not slide, insert a block (1) (about
50 mm (2.0 in) x 50 mm (2.0 in) under the track on
the outer side. Slowly lower the boom until the track
slowly slides until coming to the stop.
7. Slowly lower the track to the ground.
8. Make sure that the retaining hardware on the base
frame of the undercarriage matches the fixing holes
on the side frame.
9. Install 12 fixing bolts to the retaining hardware. The
tightening torque must be 1470 – 1920 N·m (1084 –
1416 lb ft) .
10. Repeat steps 2 to 9 for the other track
11. Store the 24 unused bolts in the front storage box.
The machine is now ready for being disassembled into its
main modules.
Extension of Side Frames
1. Assemble the main modules to the base machine.
Park the machine on a hard and level surface.
2. Wrap two cables (C) around the front section and the
rear section of the side frame to be extended as shown
in figure. Make sure to use paddings to avoid dam-
ages to the side frame and to the cables.
3. Connect the ends of each cable to a ratchet lever
winch (R).
4. Remove the 12 fixing bolts (1) from the retaining hard-
ware of the side frame to be extended.
5. Swing the upperframe to the side frame to be ex-
tended. Upperframe and undercarriage shall be at
90°.
