7. Confirm that the engine speed throttle (1) is in low idle
position.
8. Turn the starter key (2) to ON position.
9. Make sure to deactivate the auto idle function and the
auto shut-down function. Press the idle mode button
until any idle icon on the display turns off.
10. Press and release the fan reversing button. The mes-
sage FAN IS REVERSED is displayed.
11. Start the engine. The message FAN IS REVERSED
is displayed, and an audible alarm sounds.
12. Let the engine run at low idle speed for 1 min.
13. Gradually increase the engine speed to H position.
Let the engine run in H position for 1 – 2 min.
14. Increase the engine speed to SP position. Let the
engine run in SP position for no longer than 2 min.
15. Decrease the engine speed to H position. Let the
engine run in H position for 1 – 2 min.
16. Gradually decrease the engine speed to low idle posi-
tion. Wait for the green cooling down icon to appear.
17. Stop the engine, and remove the starter key. The fan
reversing function automatically deactivates.
18. Get off the cab. Close the engine hood and the rear
left-hand door.
The normal machine operation can be now resumed.
