Installing the counterweight
1. Make sure to place the machine and the counterweight
on a hard and level surface.
2. Align the upper frame to the undercarriage, and get
the machine close to the counterweight. The machine
must be positioned so as the upper frame and the
counterweight are parallel and centered, at a refer-
ence distance (A) of 840 mm (33.1 in)
3. Lower the attachment to the ground.
4. Set the gate lock lever to central position.
5. Set the engine speed 4 - 5 steps above low idle.
6. Reach the rear right-hand compartment.
7. Open the rear right-hand door and fix it in open posi-
tion.
8. Turn the stop valve (2) counterclockwise to open the
hydraulic circuit of the counterweight removal system.
