Fuel filters
WARNING
Fire hazard!
When handling diesel fuel, observe the following precautions:
1. Do not smoke.
2. Never fill the tank when the engine is running.
3. Wipe up spilled fuel immediately.
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.
Replace the fuel filter elements every 500 h
NOTICE: The filter must be replaced taking precautions so that any foreing material may get into the filter body or the
filter element. Failing to comply will lead to severe damages to the fuel supply system and to the fuel injection system.
NOTICE: Never reuse fuel that rests into the filter body. To clean the filter body, use clean diesel fuel only.
NOTICE: Use of fuel filters other than CASE CONSTRUCTION genuine components, is prohibited.
Take the same procedure as that for the pre-filter. The
positions of the drain plug (1) and of the air bleed plug
(2) of the fuel main filters are shown in the picture.
Bleed the fuel system. Refer to page 6-11
