Removing the counterweight
1. Park the machine on a hard and level surface. Align
the upperstructure with the undercarriage.
2. Lower the attachment to the ground.
3. Set the gate lock lever to central position.
4. Turn the engine speed throttle to low idle position. Wait
for the green cooling down icon to appear.
5. Stop the engine and remove the starter key.
6. Step down to the ground, and remove the lower
mounting bolts (1) of the counterweight. Make sure to
properly store the six mounting bolts.
7. Reach the upper side of the counterweight, and dis-
connect the electric cables from the cameras.
8. Lift the securing brackets of the removal system by
loosening their mounting bolts. Then, make sure to
tighten back the bolts to the frame of the removal
system.
9. Get onto the cab, start the engine, and make sure
that the gate lock lever is in central position.
10. Set the engine speed 4 - 5 steps above low idle.
11. Reach the rear right-hand compartment.
12. Open the rear right-hand door and fix it in open posi-
tion.
13. Turn the stop valve (2) counterclockwise to open the
hydraulic circuit of the counterweight removal sys-
tem.
