Operate the excavator carefully to avoid hitting the boom
with the hydraulic breaker.
Do not operate the breaker with the arm positioned verti-
cally. Excessive vibration to the arm cylinder may cause
oil leakage.
Press the breaker so that the chisel point thrust is square
(perpendicular) to the object to be broken.
Do not operate the hydraulic breaker continuously longer
than 15 s. Excessive chisel wear will result. If an object
could not be broken within 15 s, apply chisel to other lo-
cations, less than 15 s for each location.
If breaker operation is done with ambient temperature
above 35 °C, make sure to take a stand-by time between
breaker strikes in order to allow the circulation of the hy-
draulic fluid.
