Oracle Field Service
Using Core Application
Add a Recurring Schedule
Some times, resources work in a specific shift at regular intervals. For example, a field resource might visit a new site
once a week for two months. You can define such schedules on the Calendars or the Resource Calendar page.
1.
In the resource tree, click the field resource for which you want to update the calendar.
2.
Click the hamburger icon and then click Calendars.
3.
To set up a shift for one day:
a.
On the calendar, click the starting date for which you want to apply the new schedule.
b.
In the Schedule field, select the shift that you want to apply.
The date that you have selected on the calendar is displayed in the End Date field.
c.
Select None in the Repeat field.
If you have selected a future date for End Date, it changes to the currently-selected date.
d.
Retain the selection in the Keep the Non-working days check box.
The resource's individual existing non-working days (set as non-working time and has a reason) in
the calendar are retained when the schedule is applied. This option doesn't have an impact when an
assigned schedule contains non-working days (usually displayed as an empty schedule in the calendar).

Click Submit.
A message indicates the number of days for which the shift is applied. The new schedule is applied to the
field resource.
