Using Core Application
Screen Layout Optimization
If you are using a large monitor, you can view the pages in optimized layout.
This means you can view more information on a single page without having the need to navigate to other pages. If you
are using the Core Application on a mobile device, the pages remain optimized for touch interaction.
Search Results Actions
As a Dispatcher, when you search for activities in order to inspect details, adjust data, or perform some actions with the
activities, you'll find display links in activity hints of the search results. This makes it easy for you to perform an action
on the activity directly from the search results rather than navigating to each page separately.
Note: When you search for activities on other pages, the links in activity hints won't be visible.
Resource and Activity Views
You can identify at a glance, the location of your resources and the status of their routes in three ways.
• Time view - A Gantt table that displays the activities for the selected resource, group, or bucket in timelines,
with activities shown as blocks of time.
• List view - A chronological list of the day's activities for the selected resource, group, or bucket. Activities are
ordered by estimated start time.
• Map view - A map that shows the day's activities.
Menu Tabs
You can access the important functions that you use frequently, from the menu tabs. The menu tabs are displayed in
the header and are configured by your administrator.
