1. Align turf groomer and roller shafts with
corresponding brackets and slide drive assembly (1)
onto machine.

2. Install hex head screw (2), spacer (3), and lock nut
(4).

3. Tighten turf groomer shaft set screw (5) and roller
shaft set screw (6).
4. Place a straightedge (10) across the face of clutch
pulley (9) and drive pulley (7). Make sure both pulleys
are properly aligned.
5. Once properly aligned, secure drive pulley (7) with
set screw (8).

To prevent permanent damage to the belt, do not
over-tighten, twist, fold, or bend the belt.
Over-tightening the belt will cause premature belt
failure and abrasive wear of the pulley and
bearings. Twisting or bending the belt will
damage the belt cord fibers.
6. Install drive belt (14).
7. Install spacer (13), idler pulley (12), and eccentric
adjuster nut (11).
8. Install hex head screw (15) with lock washer (16). Do
not tighten at this time.
9. Turn eccentric adjuster nut (11) by hand to adjust
drive belt (14) tension.
NOTE
Do not over-tighten drive belt. Be sure idler pulley does
not contact drive pulley.
10. Use a 3/4-in. open-end wrench to hold eccentric
adjuster nut (11) while tightening hex head screw
(15) to 20 lb-ft (27 N•m).
