Repair—Front Rollers
Front Roller—Solid Tube and
Segmented
Removal
See Figures 10-9 through 10-11.
1. Park the mower safely. (See "Park Mower Safely" on
page 1-6.)
2. Retract the kickstand and allow the mower to rest on
the traction roller or transport wheels.
3. Place blocks under the frame to remove weight from
the front roller.

4. Loosen jam nuts (6) and square head bolts (7) on
both sides of the mower.
5. Remove nut (2), lock washer (3), flat washer (4), and
carriage bolt (1) from adjuster bracket (5).

6. Slide the roller assembly (10) toward the opposite
side.
7. Pivot the adjuster bracket (9) down, and remove
adjuster bracket (9) and roller (10) as an assembly.
8. Remove adjusting nut (8).

9. Remove nut (14), lock washer (15), flat washer (16),
carriage bolt (12), and adjuster bracket (13).
10. Remove adjusting nut (11).
