Read Module Configuration
The configuration of expansion modules and cartridges connected to the CPU module is displayed in the module configuration area.
Notes:
Read module configuration only reads the connection status of expansion modules and cartridges. It does not read the configured
parameters. Therefore, the expansion module and cartridge parameters are the default values. Configure the parameters as necessary.
If digital I/O modules are connected, the actual model number such as FC6A-N08B1 cannot be distinguished by reading the module
configuration. The model number will be a general term for number of I/O points such as 16 inputs or 16 outputs. Change the model number
to the actual model number after reading the module configuration.
On the Online tab, in the Monitor group, click Monitor and Start Monitor. The status and current values of expansion modules and cartridges
can be checked in the Parameter Reference area.
If an expansion module or cartridge has an error status, the corresponding module is shown in a red box in the Module Configuration area.
