Abbott VP 2000™ Processor Service Manual

Verification (Test Control Module Not Used)
1. Power ON the PC.
2. Log on to the PC.
3. Perform the Maintain Test for the Robotic Arm
movement.
Verification (Test Control Module Used)
WARNING: Always disconnect the system power at the
plug to the wall socket before beginning disassembly of
the unit.
1. Disconnect the PC from the Abbott VP 2000 Processor.
2. Remove the side panel to gain access to the Test Control
Module Connector.
3. Mount the Test Control Module mounting bracket.
4. Mount the Test Control Module to the mounting bracket.
5. Plug the instrument in and turn the instrument ON.
6. Perform the following test sequence:
"TEST"
"RUN"
"1"
"ENTER"
7. When testing is complete, turn the instrument OFF.
8. Disconnect from the AC power source.
9. Remove the Test Control Module and Test Control
Module mounting bracket.
10. Store the Test Control Module Connector in the
instrument.
11. Re-install the side panel.
12. Re-connect to the AC power source.
13. Power ON the instrument.
14. Re-connect the PC to the instrument.
