Motor - Install (C.20.F.28 - F.10.A.15)
1.
Support the weight of the motor with a floor jack.
Raise the motor into position on the transmission.
Engage the spline shaft of the motor and push it into
the female spline until the mounting flange is against
the transmission.

Turn on the four mounting nuts (1) (two shown).
Torque the nuts to standard torque.
3.
Line the case drain elbow (1) up with the case drain
line (2). Engage the line into the elbow and tighten
the fitting. Tighten the lower elbow fitting. Torque
both ends of the elbow to 110 - 120 N·m (81 - 89 ft.
lbs.).
NOTE: The case drain line may have sprung. Use a crow-
bar or other prying device to line the pipe up enough to
engage the threads of the fitting to prevent galling.
