Postal inscriptions
Postal inscriptions are text printed on the envelope to identify to the Post Office which class of service
should be used. Inscriptions:
can be selected automatically by the system when the class is selected in Run Mail
l
can be specified manually if you wish to print a specific inscription
l
can be set to not print
l

Changing or Adding a Text Message or Return Address

To change or add a text message:
1. Ensure that the appropriate job is
2. Select anywhere within the envelope on the Run Mail screen. You can also select the Edit
envelope link.
3. Select the Text messages and Return addresses option from the list box on the left of the Edit
envelope screen.
4. You have several options available for displaying the available graphics. Refer to
Available Messages/Addresses
5. If there is no message/address currently displayed on the envelope, select one of the available
messages displayed on the Edit envelope screen. A check mark appears next to the message you
select.
