3. Select Clock.
4. Select Synchronize clock to synchronize the clock.
5. To turn daylight saving time on or off select On or Off.
Note:
Turn Daylight Saving Time on in the Spring and off in the Fall.
6. Select the appropriate time zone from the Time Zone list.
7. Select Done to return to the Home screen.
Setting up the scanner
1. Select the Settings button in the Mailing tile on the Home screen.
2. Select System from the list on the left side of the screen.
3. Select Scanner Settings.
4. There are five tabs along the top of the screen related to scanner settings.
The Default Scan type tab allows you to specify the type of account field the scanner will
l
search for when it scans a barcode that does not contain a prefix.
The Accounting Prefixes tab allows you to use barcodes to automatically enter information
l
on the Run Mail screen (for example, the account name).
The Concatenate Scans tab contains the characters you can use to join multiple barcodes
l
into a single scan.
The Barcode Auto-Enter tab allows you to turn on/off the ability of the system to
l
automatically enter data scanned from a barcode into the Connect+ screen without forcing the
operator to press the Enter key after the barcode is completely scanned.
The Scanner Diagnostics tab allows you to verify what is actually being read by the scanner
l
in the barcode without having to run mail.
