1. Place the swingarm guard against the fencing as shown in Section 4-39 and
hold in place.
2. Use a pen to mark the four spots on arc curtain where screws will be
installed.
3. Use a knife or other sharp object to make small holes at the marked spots.
4. Press four M6 X16 SHC screws through the swingarm guard, arc curtain
hole, and fence and then tighten into guard nut plate (see Figure 4-40) using a
5mm Allen wrench.
5. Check swingarm guard location using system prints and adjust if necessary.

System Check – After Power Up
Now that system power is ON and the light curtains are properly aligned, conduct
a final system check. To conduct a final system check, proceed as follows:
1. Check all system E-STOPS for proper operation (programming pendant,
operator station, torch mount, and playback panel).
2. Check system HOLD buttons for proper operation.
3. Check door interlock for proper operation.
4. Check light curtains for proper operation.
