Alarm Protocol
The Ascotel ATPC1 protocol
Protocol elements:
• Alarm ID:
Decimal number from 0 to 9999
The Alarm ID is needed as 16 alarms can be stored for each subscriber. This
means specific alarms can be found and deleted without any ambiguity.
• Internal subscriber number:
max. 12-digit subscriber number in accordance with the numbering plan
• Text:
Any text, upper and lower case, but no German "umlauts"
Max. length 84 characters
• /:
Slash to separate the information elements, for commands from the alarm
source to Ascotel
ASCII Char: / Hex: 2F
• '\t':
Horizontal tab to separate the information elements, for messages from Asco-
tel to the alarm source
