Switching over the inverter control (command data set)
In some applications, it must be possible to switch over the master control for operating the
inverter.
Example: The motor is to be operable either from a central control via the fieldbus or via the
local digital inputs of the inverter.
Command data set (CDS)
This means that you can set the inverter con-
trol in various ways and toggle between the
settings. For instance, as described above,
the inverter can either be operated via a
fieldbus or via its digital inputs.
The settings in the inverter, which are as-
signed to a specific master control, are termed
the command data set.
You select the command data set using parameter p0810. To do this, you must interconnect
parameter p0810 with a control command of your choice, e.g. a digital input.

As in the example above, you obtain the interconnection if you configured the interfaces of
the inverter with p0015 = 7 in the basic commissioning, also see section
commissioning (Page 101).
