Secton 6 - Electrcal System
The GP400 control module uses a variety of sensors to maintain proper and safe operation of the
machine. This machine may be sold into many different countries that require a variety of monitoring
equipment. For example, the CE equipped machine, designed for European (and many other)
countries, is equipped with a Load Sensing system that uses a Pressure Transducer to monitor oil
pressure in the lift circuit and an Angle Transducer to monitor platform elevation. ANSI models use an
Angle Transducer, and only monitor platform elevation.
In the event the GP400 requires replacement, a calibration process must be performed before the
machine can be operated. The GP400 will operate initially in an "assembly mode" to provide basic
machine operation. However, it will divert to a failure mode if not properly calibrated within a few start-
up cycles.
