To make a current measurement using the built-in multimeter:
1. Push .
2. Push the AC/DC softkey to select between ac or dc mode.
3. Connect the test leads to the A and COM jacks.
The COM connector is the low signal connection for both voltage and current
input. The maximum voltage between COM and PE is 2200 V.
When both voltage and current are supplied to the meter inputs, both readings
are displayed in the OUTPUT area of the display. In addition, a Power value is
calculated and displayed in the PARAMETERS area of the display.
When in ac mode, the power reading can be displayed in W, VA or VAr. The
phase between voltage and current is also shown as power factor or degrees.
To switch between different expressions of ac power:
1. Push the Setup softkey.
2. Using the cursor keys or rotary knob, highlight Meter and either push the
Select softkey or push in the rotary knob.
3. Using the cursor keys or rotary knob, highlight AC Power Unit and either
push the Select softkey or push in the rotary knob.
4. Using the cursor keys or rotary knob, highlight VA, VAr, or W and either push
the Select softkey or push in the rotary knob.
5. Return to the multimeter display by pushing the Exit softkey repeatedly.
To change how Phase is displayed:
1. Push the Setup softkey.
2. Use the cursor keys or rotary knob to highlight Meter and either push the
Select softkey or push in the rotary knob.
3. Use the cursor keys or rotary knob to highlight Phase and either push the
Select softkey or push in the rotary knob.
4. Use the cursor keys or rotary knob to highlight degrees or PF and either
push the Select softkey or push in the rotary knob.
5. Return to the multimeter display by pushing the Exit softkey repeatedly.
