Calibrate RCD Trip Current

The Product uses the same connections for trip current calibration as trip time
calibration. To do an RCD trip current calibration:
1. Push .
2. Connect the DUT to the Product's L, PE, and N terminals as shown in
Figure 49.
3. Push the Mode softkey. Then, using the cursor keys or rotary knob, highlight
Trip Current and select it by pushing the Select softkey or pushing in the
rotary knob.
4. On the DUT, set these parameters:
Trip current function selected
Trip current (I
S or G type RCD not set
AC or dc sensitive testing not set
Phase polarity not set
Maximum touch voltage not set
5. On the Product, make these settings:
Nominal trip current (I
The series resistance of the touch voltage can be set using the Setup and
RCD softkeys. The default series resistance is set to the minimum value.
6. Push .
7. On the DUT, push Start.
The Product measures and then displays the trip current.
8. Compare the nominal trip current with the measured trip current on the
Product's display.
