While connected to the DUT, the Product monitors the voltage appearing across
the resistance. The measured voltage, the maximum voltage and current, along
with the maximum allowed voltage across the selected resistor, are shown in the
PARAMETERS area of the display. See Figure 4.

To avoid overloading the Product, make sure the voltage
applied by the DUT will not exceed the maximum allowed value
before adjusting the output value.
With the output connected, you can adjust the resistance value with the
keyboard, cursor keys, or rotary knob. Any new values set using the front panel
can take approximately 500 ms to actually appear on the output terminals. If
during the adjustment, the current or voltage exceeds acceptable limits, the
output terminals will be disconnected and an error message displayed. If the set
value should exceed the upper range limit or lower range limit, the Product
displays Value too Large or Value too Small, respectively.

