2-1. Overview of Ethernet Interfaces

Th e MG41 main unit supports two interfaces with the Ethernet. Connection to the command interface
must be made without fail.

A protocol of the application layer of its own is stipulated for the data interface. Th is means that if the
interface is to be connected to an existing network, it may be necessary to apply to the network administrator
for the connection and/or change the network equipment settings and/or computer security settings.
