Appendix 1 Error Codes
Error details and cause
• The global label setting file or the program file with the target
program name differs from the one when the file was written.
Or, the file was deleted.
• Request data error
■When CPU Module Logging Configuration Tool is used
• Request or setting data error
• The search target data cannot be detected.
• The specified command cannot be executed because it is
being executed.
• An attempt was made to perform operation to the program
not registered in parameter.
■When CPU Module Logging Configuration Tool is used
• The data logging specifying the program that is stored in the
CPU module but not registered in the CPU parameters was
started.
• The specified pointer (P or I) does not exist.
• The pointer (P or I) cannot be specified because the
program is not specified in parameter.
• The specified pointer (P or I) has already been added.
• The number of pointers (P or I) exceeds its limit.
• The specified step number is not at the head of the
instruction.
• The program differs from that stored in the CPU module.
■When CPU Module Logging Configuration Tool is used
• The data logging specifying the step number that does not
exist or is not specified as the start number of the instruction
was started.
• An attempt was made to insert/delete the END instruction by
online program change.
• The file capacity exceeded after the online change was
executed.
• The remote request cannot be executed.
• The instruction code that cannot be handled exists.
• The write step is illegal.
• The program differs from that stored in the CPU module.
• A block No. outside the range was specified.
• The number of blocks exceeds the range.
Action
• Write the global label setting file or the program file with the
target program name.
• Write the file again. (Read the file that is read from the CPU
module using CPU Module Logging Configuration Tool, and
write it again using CPU Module Logging Configuration
Tool.)
• Check and correct the SD940 setting.
• Check the request data that has been specified.
■When CPU Module Logging Configuration Tool is used
• Check the specified data, and write it to the CPU module
again.
• Check the data to be searched.
• Execute the command again after the processing of the
command from another engineering tool ends.
• Register the program in parameter.
• Check if the pointer (P or I) exist in the data.
• Register the program to be executed in parameter first, and
specify the pointer (P or I).
• Check and correct the pointer number to be added.
• Check and correct the specified pointer (P or I).
• Check and correct the specified step number.
• Read the program from the CPU module to match it with that
of the engineering tool, and then execute online change
again.
• Check the specified program file contents.
• Set the operating status of the CPU module to STOP, and
write the program.
• Check the capacity of the specified program file.
• Set the operating status of the CPU module to STOP, and
write the program.
• Change the status of the CPU module so that the remote
request can be executed, and execute the request again.
• For remote operation, set the parameter to "Enable remote
reset".
• Check whether the model of the used CPU module is correct
or not.
• The program where online change was attempted includes
the instruction that cannot be handled by the CPU module
specified for the project. Check the program and delete the
instruction.
• Set the operating status of the CPU module to STOP, and
write the program.
• The starting position of online program change is not
specified with the correct program step number. Check
whether the engineering tool supports the model and version
of the CPU module that is specified for the project.
• Read the program from the CPU module to match it with that
of the engineering tool, and then execute online the program
change again.
• Check the setting and correct it.
• Check the set quantity and correct it.
