21) Installation of Valves

Apply oil to valve guide and attach new valve stem seal 1.

Intake Side
Exhaust Side : Green
Install valve 2, valve spring seat 3, valve spring 4 and

retainer 5 in the order shown, and then, attach
commercially available valve spring compressor 6.
With valve spring 4 being compressed, use small screw

driver with small amount of grease at the tip to put cotter 7.
Tap valve stem end with plastic hammer to fix cotter 7

securely.
