To specify an event criteria for an Embedded Event Manager (EEM) applet that is run on the basis of a
syslog, use the event syslog command. To remove the syslog event criteria, use the no form of this
command.

Specifies an integer to be used for number of occurrences. The range is from 1 to
65000.
Specifies a regular expression to be used for matching. The pattern can be any
alphanumeric string up to 256 characters.
Specifies the time interval within which the events need to happen. The range is
from 0 to 4294967295.
Specifies the priority of the log message.
Specifies the alert log message.
Specifies the critical log message.
Specifies the debugging log message.
Specifies the emergency log message.
Specifies the error log message.
Specifies the informational log message.
Specifies the notifications log message.
Specifies the warning log message.
Identifies this specific event when multiple events are included in the policy.
