To enable the Precision Time Protocol (PTP) on an interface, use the ptp command. To disable PTP on
an interface, use the no form of this command.
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or keywords.

This command does not require a license.
Examples
This example shows how to enable PTP on an interface:
switch# configure terminal
switch(config)# interface ethernet 1/5

switch# configure terminal
switch(config)# interface ethernet 1/5
switch(config-if)# no ptp
switch(config-if)#
