Global Configuration.
Sets the event types, also called "facilities," for which syslog events are
generated.
The no command stops generating syslog events for the event type that you
specify. The default setting is {system | config | switch_fabric}.
To Enable:
set syslog facility {start | system | config | temp |
resource | fan | service_port | user _port | power |
bridge_stat | switch_fabric | ospf | rip | ldap | appletalk
| auth_failure | redundant_cpu | dvmrp | cli | snmp |
unknown_mac | vrrp | login_status | acl_log | ssl_ssh |

Definition
Logs starts of the system.
Logs system events.
Logs each configuration change (for example,
enabling and disabling ports).
Logs changes in temperature status. Temperature
status messages could precede a switch shutdown,
and are often critical.
Logs changes in system resources.
