Component dashboard

The Component dashboard displays the status of arrays based on the Frontend, Cache, Processor, and
Backend. The arrays are in Ok, Critical, or Warning state based on the usage of the component in that
category. The usage data is collected for threshold limits that are set in the Threshold Setting screen for
a specified threshold duration. It also displays usage statistics for top 10 major components in the
following graphs (by default, the graphs are plotted for data points collected over 6 hours):
• Top 10 Ports by Avg IO
• Top 10 Ports by Avg MB
• Cache Write Pending by CLPR
• Cache Size and Avg Cache Usage by CLPRs
• Top 10 Processors by Utilization
• Top 10 Internal RG by Avg Utilization
• Top 10 Internal RG by Max Utilization
You can view the corresponding components and their usage statistics by clicking the following:
• Graph titles: You are taken to the corresponding component screen that lists top10 respective
components in the array for that category. It also displays the usage statistics of the first component.
For example, when you click the Top 10 Processor by Utilization, you navigate to the Processors
screen that displays the list of top 10 Processors in the array with maximum Processor Utilization.
• Graph bar: You are taken to the corresponding component screen that displays the usage statics of
the selected component in the array. For example, when you click a bar in the Top 10 Processor by
Utilization graph, you navigate to the Processors screen that displays the usage statistics of that
Processor in the array.
• Status icon or number: You are taken to the corresponding component screen that sorts and displays
the list of the components for that category. For example, when you click the Top 10 Processor by
Utilization, you navigate to the Processors screen. This screen sorts and lists Processors in the
array with maximum Processor Utilization, and displays the usage statistics of the first Processor in
the list.
You can click either Component from the HPE XP7 Performance Advisor, or the status icon or the
corresponding number in the Component widget on the Overview dashboard to view the Component
dashboard.
You can manage the threshold setting of an array by clicking Edit Threshold. Refresh the dashboard
screen for updated dashboard status.
