Edit threshold duration

Procedure
1. From the HPE XP7 Performance Advisor main menu, click Threshold Settings.
2. In the Threshold Duration section, hover the mouse to display the Edit link.
3. From theThreshold Duration drop-down list, set the threshold duration from the following options:
Current, 6 hrs, 12 hrs, or 24 hrs.
If you select the duration as Current, then:
The dashboard displays the status based on latest performance data.
No Perf Data status is displayed on the dashboard screen when there is no performance collection
data for 2 continuous cycles.
If multiple schedules are provided for a single component, then the dashboard displays the status
based on the maximum interval set across all the components.

Edit threshold duration
Description
Indicates the average overall utilization of the MPs that can be
utilized on an installed MP Blade over the threshold duration. PA
uses this value to verify whether the average overall utilization of
each installed MP Blade is within or beyond the set threshold
limit. MP Blade Util(%)
The default threshold value is 70%.
NOTE: The MP Blade Util (%) metric is applicable for MP
Blades on the P9500/XP7 disk arrays.
Indicates the I/Os that defines an individual tier can handle over a
specified duration. PA uses this value to verify whether the I/Os
on each tier is within or beyond the set threshold. The status is
updated according to the value with respect to threshold set.
If the I/Os on a tier exceeds the defined threshold limit, the status
icon changes to Critical.
Indicates the average I/Os that you define for an individual LDEV
a specified duration.
PA uses this value to verify whether the average I/Os handled on
each LDEV is within or beyond the set threshold.
Indicates the average MB/s that you define for an individual
LDEV over a specified duration.
PA uses this value to verify whether the average MB/s happening
on each LDEV is within or beyond the set threshold.
