IMPORTANT:
Ensure that at least one round of configuration and performance data collection is completed for the
selected XP/XP7 disk array to view the respective array and component details.

The above figure displays the Summary View screen for 10035, which belongs to the 10035 XP7 disk
array.
Further, to view the performance and utilization metrics at the component level in the disk array, click the
Component drop-down list for the disk array and select the component from the list. Click each
component under a particular component node to view the individual performance or utilization data. For
example, clicking Ports for an XP7 disk array displays the performance summary of all the ports
configured on the disk array at a particular time.
IMPORTANT:
When you select the components, such as the MP Blades, or the Pools, only the installed MP
blades, or the configured ThP and smart pools are displayed in the respective lists.

Plot summary view on Chart Work Area

PA enables you to plot the summary data of components displayed in the tabular columns on a chart. You
can plot charts of components and its metrics in the respective summary screens without navigating to
individual component screens. The data is refreshed every one minute. Once a chart is plotted, it persists
in the Chart Work Area even when you navigate to a different summary screen.
When you select a component record from the summary screen of a component type, the Chart Work
Area pane appears. To plot chart for a specific metric for the selected component, click the metric value
displayed in the table. The chart for the metric is plotted in the chart work area. For example, in the Port
Summary screen, select the component CLI-A, and then click the Maximum IOPS metric for which you
want to plot a chart. The Maximum IO is plotted on the Frontend IO Metrics chart in the chart work area.
To plot chart for the frontend MB metrics, select one or all the MB metrics, as required. The Frontend MB
