Set the time zone for management station

Procedure
1. From the HPE XP7 Performance Advisor main menu, click PA Settings > User Settings.
2. Click Edit.
3. In the TimeZone Settings section, select the appropriate time zone from the TimeZone list.
By default, the TimeZone displays the local time zone where the management station resides is
displayed.
4. Click Save to update the time zone details on the management station.
CAUTION:
Ensure that the date and time on the management station and hosts are synchronized with the local
time zone to receive accurate configuration data. This condition is also applicable for the client
systems that use the IE browser to access PA on a management station, and systems that have the
CLUI software installed.

Set the duration to predict the LDEV response time

Procedure
1. From the HPE XP7 Performance Advisor main menu, click PA Settings > User Settings.
2. Click Edit.
3. In the Data Analysis Settings section, from the Avg. Read/Write Response Time Analysis
Duration (in Days) drop-down list, select the duration. You can select a maximum of seven days. By
default, PA considers a duration of two days for the prediction.
4. Click the Save button on the Data Analysis section to update the prediction duration. In the Save
page, click OK.
PA does the following:
1. Analyzes the average read and write response time for the LDEVs that belong to all the arrays, or a
combination of arrays.
2. Displays a
average read and write responses.

Set alias name for arrays

You can view all available arrays and their alias names. You can change or set alias name for an array.
This name is displayed across all the screens.
NOTE: You can use all the special characters in the alias name except /and \.
