XP7 disk array serial number when the license key is generated.

Add licenses

Procedure
1. In the HPE XP7 Performance Advisor main menu, click License.
2. From the Actions menu, click Add.
3. In the Add License page, click Browse, and add the licenses (.dat files) that you generated at the
HPEAC license key website.
4. Click Open, and then click Add License.
5. Click Add License. The license details appears under the License Status pane.
CAUTION:
After the licenses are installed, do not modify the date and time on the management station
where PA is installed. Modifying them may result in inaccurate configuration and performance
collections.
The following details are updated in the View License File Status section. These details are for the
specific XP/XP7 disk array serial number for which the license is generated:

Description
Displays the type of XP/XP7 disk array that PA monitors.
Displays the serial number of the array.
Displays the internal raw disk capacity of an XP disk array or
the physical usable capacity of an XP7 disk array.
Displays the aggregate capacity of all valid license keys
installed. The License Capacity (TB) is updated every day
after 1:00 PM.
• If 15TB Permanent license is installed for an XP or an
XP7 disk array, the License Capacity (TB) displays
15TB.
• If 15TB Permanent license and 100TB-Days of Meter
based Term license are installed for an XP7 disk array, the
License Capacity (TB) displays15TB, +100TB-Days.
