5. Select the Good Info Alarm Flag check box to receive the respective Good Information Alarm
notifications.
IMPORTANT:
By default, PA dispatches Good Information alarm notifications. However, if it is disabled, you
must enable the Good Info Alarm Flag check box on the Email Settings screen to receive the
XP7 Alarm - Good Information Alarm notifications.
6. Click Save.

Configure reports email settings

Procedure
1. From the HPE XP7 Performance Advisor main menu, navigate to PA Settings, and in the Email
Settings pane, click Edit.
2. Scroll down to the Reports Email Settings section, provide a valid destination email address as
specified above in the Alarm Email Settings section.
3. In the Email Subject, provide an appropriate subject text for the report email notifications. PA uses the
specified subject text as the default text for all the notifications that are dispatched when a report is
generated as scheduled. The default subject line is XP7 Performance Report.
4. In the Report Name, type the name of the report you want to generate.
5. In the Customer Name, type the name of the customer for whom the report is generated.
6. In the Consultant Name, type the name of the consultant who is associated with the customer.
7. In the Array Location, type the location of the XP/XP7 disk array for which the report is generated.
This information is useful if the XP/XP7 disk array is located in a different site, away from the
management station.
8. Click Save.

Configure data collection email settings

Procedure
1. From the HPE XP7 Performance Advisor main menu, navigate to PA Settings, and the Email
Settings pane, click Edit.
2. Scroll down to the Data Collection Email Settings section, and in the Email address box, provide a
valid destination email address as specified in the Alarm Email Settings section above.
3. In the Email Subject, provide an appropriate subject line for the data collection failure notifications. PA
uses the specified subject text as the default for all the notifications that are dispatched whenever a
performance data collection fails. For example, XP7 Data Collection Failed.
4. Select the Notify Data Collection Failure check box to receive the data collection failure notifications.
By default, PA does not dispatch the data collection failure notifications.
5. Click Save.
