Description
you define an individual RAID Group can manage over the
threshold duration.
PA uses this value to verify whether the average non-sequential
I/Os on each RAID Group is within or beyond the set threshold
limit.
Indicates the average sequential backend write tracks that you
define an individual RAID Group can manage over the threshold
duration.
PA uses this value to compare whether the average writes (I/Os)
on each RAID Group is within or beyond the set threshold limit.
Indicates the average overall RAID Group utilization that you
define for an individual RAID Group over the threshold duration.
PA uses this value to verify whether the average overall RAID
Group utilization of each RAID Group is within or beyond the set
threshold limit.
The default threshold value is 70%. If the utilization of one RAID
Group exceeds the defined threshold, the status icon changes to
Critical
Includes both average read response time and average write
response time of an individual Host Group.
Indicates the time that is the average response time of LDEVs
that are configured for a host group. Its is the time taken in
millisecond for the read and write IOs from the time the read and
write commands are received at the array host port to the time
the array has returned a good status frame to the host indicating
a successful completion of the read and write commands after
reception of the data from the host. The data transfer time, which
relies on the switch buffer availability to send data frames to the
array, is included in the response time.
PA uses this value to verify whether the average read response
time on each Host Group is within or beyond the set threshold.
The status is updated according to the value with respect to
threshold set.
If the average read response time on a Host Group exceeds the
defined threshold limit, the status icon changes to Critical. The
default threshold value is 5 msec.
Indicates the Total I/Os that defines an individual Host Group can
handle over a specified duration. PA uses this value to verify
whether the Total I/Os on each Host Group is within or beyond
the set threshold. The status is updated according to the value
with respect to threshold set.
If the Total I/Os on a Host Group exceeds the defined threshold
limit, the status icon changes to Critical.
