Modify Or Delete A Chart Template - HPE XP7 User Manual

NOTE:
• While you can reuse a template created for a certain array, the new template may display
blank charts if the metrics are not part of the selected array.
• You cannot apply a template which contains data of multiple arrays on any one array.
• To add more metrics to an existing template, select the desired metrics from the components/
features screens. You can add a single metric to a template by right-clicking on the metric and
select Save as > Template. In the Save Template dialog, select Existing Template (also the
default selection), and choose the desired template from the drop-down filter, and click OK.
• The options to perform real-time charting, trend and forecast, and data export of the saved
template are enabled using the Actions menu.
• You can also right-click an individual chart to apply Trending and Forecasting, Realtime
monitoring, and email and save charts options.

Modify or delete a chart template

Procedure
1. From the HPE XP7 Performance Advisor menu, click Templates.
2. From the Templates filter, select the template to modify or delete.
3. Click Delete Template.
4. Do one of the following:
• To delete required metrics, click Delete Selected Metrics, and then click the check box against the
metrics which you want to remove from the template.
• To delete the entire template, click Delete Entire Template.
5. Click OK.
