After removal and replacement of a module due to electrical failure, you must
perform the adjustment or software update as indicated in Table 4- -6.

If you have replaced the Power PC board in the instrument, you will need to
reload the instrument model and serial number. If you have installed an exchange
sampling head, you will need to reload the correct sampler serial number.
To install a model or serial number into the instrument do the following steps:
1. Connect a PC with a GPIB interface to the GPIB interface of the instrument.
CAUTION. Make sure the unique identifier does not end in all zeros before
generating or setting the key.
2. Enter the following GPIB commands, if necessary install a new instrument's
model number:
SYST:PROT OFF
SYST:PROP:MAI:MODE "DSA8200"
SYST:PROT ON
