Venous Pressure Transducer Calibration
1.
Connect the Gambro reference instrument
(together with a calibration tube set) to
the venous pressure transducer on the
front of the AK 95 S, see fig. below.
2.
Zeroset the reference instrument, wait for
stable reading.
3.
Start the AK 95 S, enter the Service
menu and select Calibrations.
4.
Select Transducers, External and
VENOUS PRESSURE TRANSDUCER
CPU P from the selection diagram.
5.
Press
to confirm the selected trans-
ducer.
6.
Apply zero pressure by opening the three
clamps A, B and C on the calibration tube
set. Set the "REF SET" value on the
AK 95 S to 0 mmHg.
7.
Press
to enter the setting.
START
8.
If the lit

the machine stores the offset for the
transducer in the EEPROM and updates
the checksum.
For the sensitivity calibration
(the slope):
Close clamp A. Apply a pressure of approx.
-500 mmHg, shown on the reference in-
strument. Close clamp B.

Continue with the venous pressure transducer
calibration for CPU C.
Follow this instruction except for paragraph 4,
where VENOUS PRESSURE TRANSDUCER
CPU C shall be selected instead of CPU P.
If a calibration error occurs:
Try to do the calibration again.
If the error occurs a second time:
Change the transducer and the transducer
board.
